We strengthen the quality of life for children with physical disabilities in Thailand.

Enable Children Thailand is a charitable, non-profit organization working to improve function, participation, and quality of life for children with physical disabilities in Thailand. We do this through rehabilitation, assistive devices, and capacity building – always in close collaboration with families and local professionals.

Rehabilitation, participation, and everyday life Many children with physical disabilities in Thailand have limited access to rehabilitation and assistive devices that can make a real difference in their everyday lives. Our work focuses on strengthening the child’s opportunities to actively participate in family life, school, and society. Among other things, we work with:

  • Rehabilitation and activity-based interventions

  • Adaptation and development of assistive devices

  • Training and knowledge sharing with parents

  • Capacity building among local professionals

We offer

Sustainable solutions with
local ownership

Enable Children Thailand works based on occupational therapy practice and international approaches such as the WHO’s ICF and CBR models. This means that we look at the child’s entire life situation – not just the disability – and prioritize solutions that can be sustained locally.
